On April 27–28, 2023, Hermine Harutyunyan, the Executive Director of the Deposit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter, the Fund), participated in the regular session of the Expert Group under the Advisory Committee on Financial Markets of the Eurasian Economic Commission in Almaty. The session focused on harmonizing legislation in the areas of bank deposit insurance, bank/credit institution resolution, and financial recovery across EAEU member states.

H. Harutyunyan also participated as a speaker, presenting topics authored by the Fund.

During the session, a report on Islamic financial instruments and their insurance was presented, marking the first report of its kind within the Expert Group’s work.
